1. Who we are
We Like Gaming (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We’re based in Sweden and provide services to customers in Sweden and across the EU. Contact us about privacy matters at info@welikegaming.com.
2. What data we collect
When you register an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Username
- Password (we never store this in plain text – it’s hashed using bcrypt before it touches our database)
- First and last name
- Phone number (optional)
- Discord username (optional)
When you use the site, we also automatically process:
- A session cookie that keeps you logged in (see our Cookie Policy)
- Basic request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting
3. How we use your data

4. Who we share data with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run the site:
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) – verifies you’re not a bot when registering or logging in. Cloudflare may process your IP address for this purpose. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Resend – our transactional email provider, used to send verification, password-reset, and account-notification emails. See Resend’s privacy policy.
- Discord – if you use our Discord server for support, Discord processes that activity under its own privacy policy – we don’t control how Discord handles your data there.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they provide (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we’ll delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we’re required to keep records for legal reasons.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Complain to your local data protection supervisory authority

7. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or logged in plain text. Login sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies, and login/password-reset attempts are rate-limited to reduce brute-force risk. The site is served over HTTPS.
8. Children’s privacy
Our services aren’t directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
